I did a ECDP course a t Cape Tech through Dept of Public
Works and
attended several workshops ( business management,
bricklaying, skills
development and accounting) offered to women by government.
She is
registered on the database of NHBRC as a contractor to do
their
maintenance.
AMRODS
CONSTRUCTION CC has been in existence since October 2006
and did their first job in December 2006 in Mitchell’s
Plain, hanging doors
to the value of R21 750.00. Within about 1 year, we went
from 1 GB to
2 GB.
To date, AMRODS were awarded a R500 000.00 annual tenders
from
City of Cape Town.
A plumbing job also from City of Cape Town to the value of
R199,999.00,
upgrading the company to 2SO. We make use of 30% local
labour, woman
included, with every project we empower the community as
well.
AMRODS employ 5 semi permanent staff members, and have done
extensive work for City of Cape Town, as well as in the
private sector
and has a annual turnover of R1.5m.
AMRODS
CONSTRUCTION has two vehicles and a three meter trailer,
valued at R250 000.00 and are fully equipped with tools,
valued at
R150 000.00, needed to do any project

Putting the challenge out there |
Year end is the time most
artists are at their busiest. My challenge is for
each and everyone of you out there to support your colleague,
friend and fellow entertainer in his time of need to donate
2.5% (or more)
from one gig to Tommy while he is not in the position to share
centre
stage, so to speak.
This request goes out to all celebs on my Facebook page, which
include
artists of all genres, radio personalities and groups:

The road ahead is something
we acually have no control over, and for
Tommy and Angelique, this also holds true. But through
Angelique's love
and support for Tommy, shows she is determained to navigate
her own
road ahead.
When I read her plea for help, it really touched me, and
promted this
page, to help reach out to those, friends and fans alike, for
a bit of
support to this gutsy lady.
This then, in her own words, is the request for help.
Tommy Oliver has been diagnosed with Prostate cancer. Due to
his condition and
treatment that has to be received, he will not be able to
perform and do shows for
a period of time. The only income he has is from his
performances and shows.
If anyone can assist with a donation of any kind to help him
through this period,
it would greatly be appreciated.
